As new car events go, the Tokyo Motor Show usually proves to be one of the wackiest and most surreal out there. As well as the usual next-generation model debuts, there are always some radical concept cars, unusual designs and even the odd robot.
It’s the home turf motor show for Japanese firms such as Nissan,Toyota, Mazda, Honda, Mitsubishi and Suzuki and the different tastes and regulations of the market in Japan mean some of the cars (and model names) will be totally alien to UK buyers. But despite this, there will be plenty of Euro-relevant metal on show this year from the home brands and many others.
We’ll be keeping this page updated in the build up to the Tokyo Motor Show 2015, and when the event kicks off we’ll be giving you minute-by-minute coverage of the show stars and latest news. Our journalists and snappers will bring you images, video and words straight from the show floor. Stay tuned…
